Pleural Fluid Analysis test is for people suffering from:
An accumulation of fluid in your chest cavity because of chest pain, coughing, and/or difficulty breathing; and after being confirmed by a chest x-ray
Main purpose of the Pleural Fluid Analysis test:
To help diagnose the cause of accumulation of fluid in your chest cavity (pleural effusion)
Sample Required:
Sample will be collected at hospital and will be given to the laboratory for testing, Laboratory will not do the collection of this sample
