The onsite Chikungunya IGM Rapid tests are limited to the qualitative detection of IgM in human serum
A negative result indicates the absence of detectable IgM antibodies. However, a negative result does not preclude the possibility of exposure or infection with Chikungunya
It is a screening test. Any reactive or non-reactive report is recommended to be confirmed with an additional test like PCR
